The TH68 Digital LHD PVC Cable is a cost-effective and reliable solution for early fire detection in a wide range of commercial and light industrial settings. Designed to activate at a fixed temperature of 68°C (155°F), this 100-metre drum of cable is ideal for areas where traditional smoke detection may not be practical, such as warehouses, cable trays, tunnels, or escalators.

This UL 521-approved digital heat sensing cable features twisted tri-metallic conductors encased in a durable red PVC sheath. Upon reaching the designated alarm temperature, the conductors fuse, triggering an alarm via the fire panel. It can be connected to a conventional fire alarm zone or integrated into an addressable loop via a zone monitor.

PVC sheathing makes this cable a solid general-purpose choice, providing a balance of mechanical protection and flexibility. However, for applications involving direct sunlight or harsh chemicals, a more rugged coating such as nylon or silicone may be recommended.
